Red Dunes Games and BugBlio Studio are bringing their colourful co-op adventure LightSup! to Tokyo Game Show 2026, alongside a new trailer showcasing more of the game ahead of its planned Q1 2027 release.
Visitors to Tokyo Game Show will be able to find LightSup! at Hall 7, Booth N03 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The latest showing follows continued development and player feedback as BugBlio Studio works towards the game’s full launch.
LightSup! is a 1–4 player couch co-op adventure combining action, roguelite elements, dungeon crawling and survival mechanics. While solo play is available, the game has been designed around friends working together as they attempt to restore light to a world trapped beneath an eternal eclipse.

At the heart of the adventure is the Altar of Light, which protects players from the darkness. Straying away causes sanity to drain, while the game’s Blessings and Curses introduce shared advantages and disadvantages that can significantly change each run.
Players will explore different areas across the world of Illuvia, battle monsters and develop their characters through upgrades, new Blessings, Nightmare Challenges and additional characters. BugBlio Studio says the environments themselves have also been designed to help tell the story, with locations containing details about the world before the light disappeared.

Publisher Red Dunes Games and developer BugBlio Studio are targeting Q1 2027 for release on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
LightSup! will be playable during Tokyo Game Show 2026, which takes place from September 17–21.
WildStarGaming will be keeping an eye on LightSup! as it moves towards release in 2027.
