Razer reveals Wolverine V4 controllers for Xbox and PC, starting at £99.99
Razer has announced its new Wolverine V4 controller range for Xbox Series X|S and PC, giving players a choice between the wired Tournament Edition and the wireless V4 Pro.
One of the biggest changes is the introduction of capacitive thumbstick sensors. Razer says these contactless sensors offer improved precision and resistance to stick drift, although their long-term performance will need to be assessed through testing.

The range supports polling rates of up to 8,000Hz on PC, allowing controllers to report inputs more frequently. Xbox players should note that polling on Series X|S tops out at 250Hz. Adjustable triggers also let players switch between a short click for shooters and a full analogue pull for racing games.
The more expensive V4 Pro adds wireless connectivity and further physical customisation. Its four magnetic rear buttons can be removed individually, while interchangeable thumbstick caps and a removable magnetic faceplate give players more ways to adjust the controller. Razer also lists support for four onboard profiles to save different control settings.

For UK buyers, the Wolverine V4 Tournament Edition costs £99.99, while the Wolverine V4 Pro is priced at £199.99.
At the time of writing, Razer’s UK store lists both controllers for preorder, with the Tournament Edition shipping from 19 October 2026 and the Pro shipping from 26 October 2026.
