Wolcen Studio has announced that Gods, Death & Reapers will now launch into Steam Early Access in February 2027, giving the team additional time for development and player testing.
The dark fantasy extraction RPG had previously been targeting an earlier Early Access release, but Wolcen Studio says the delay will allow the team to continue improving and fine-tuning the game based on community feedback.
Before then, players will have another opportunity to enter the underworld with Closed Alpha 6, running from September 24–28, 2026.

The new test introduces several community-requested additions, including a Party System, friend management, Soulbound Items, Double Axes as a new summoner weapon and the new Asgard map, alongside further changes and improvements.
Gods, Death & Reapers combines ARPG-style real-time combat with extraction gameplay and PvE encounters, sending players into dangerous realms inspired by mythologies from around the world.
The upcoming Closed Alpha will be available to players across North America, Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and East Asia. Anyone who participated in previous playtests will retain access to future regular Closed Alpha builds.

New players can also register for a chance to participate.

Gods, Death & Reapers is scheduled to enter Steam Early Access on PC in February 2027.
