Dying Light: The Beast Celebrates First Anniversary With Physical PS5 Edition and Three Weeks of Events.
Techland is celebrating the first anniversary of Dying Light: The Beast, marking one year since players first entered Castor Woods, with a new physical edition, three weeks of anniversary activities, free rewards and the game’s biggest discount to date.
One of the biggest announcements is the arrival of the game’s first physical edition for PlayStation 5, created in partnership with Super Rare Games.
Three versions are being offered: a standard Retail Version, a Super Rare Games Edition and an Anniversary Edition. All three include the Definitive Edition of Dying Light: The Beast, featuring all post-launch updates.

The Retail Version includes the PS5 game and a manual, while the Super Rare Games Edition adds an SRG sticker, exclusive metallic slipcover and a numbered release. The limited Anniversary Edition goes further with a collection of physical items inspired by Castor Woods.
Pre-orders for the physical editions open September 18 at 4PM CEST through Super Rare Games. The Super Rare Games Edition and Anniversary Edition will have a limited pre-order window running until October 16.

Three Weeks of Anniversary Celebrations
The anniversary celebrations also bring plenty for existing players. A Double XP Event runs from September 18–21, followed by the three-week Call of the Beast: Anniversary Edition event featuring global community goals and weekend boons that players can vote for.
Completing weekly goals will unlock anniversary rewards, including a special outfit and weapon inspired by Castor Woods. Players can also claim Crane’s Anniversary Drops simply by logging in each day, with a mixture of in-game items and digital anniversary goodies available. An exclusive weapon will also be offered every Friday during Call of the Beast.
Techland is also giving players the Discharge Weapon Pack for free across Steam, PlayStation Store and Xbox from September 17–24.

To round out the anniversary, Dying Light: The Beast is being offered digitally at 50% off across all platforms until September 26, which Techland says is the game’s lowest discount so far.
A wider Dying Light Franchise Bundle, featuring Dying Light, Dying Light 2: Stay Human and Dying Light: The Beast, is also discounted by up to 70% during the anniversary period.
