Dung Ho! Pirates of the Veld is getting ready for its next big update, with new pirate-themed content due to arrive on 28 July.
The game is described as a chaotic multiplayer adventure with a strong sense of personality, built around friendship, comedy and pirate mayhem. It also comes with an interesting development background, with some of the team having previously worked on Borderlands, giving the project an extra layer of pedigree.
This looks like the kind of title worth keeping an eye on. It has the right mix of indie energy, co-op potential and unusual charm that could make it stand out from the usual wave of bigger releases.
