AION 2 early access begins ahead of October launch
AION 2 has entered early access on Steam and NC’s PURPLE platform, giving Founder’s Pack owners a five-day head start before its official launch on 5 October.
According to NC America’s announcement, early access began on 30 September and includes the full game experience. Players can develop their characters, team up with friends for PvE adventures and take part in PvP battles, with progress carrying forward into launch.
Flight is a central feature of the MMORPG, with players able to explore the skies, dive underwater and fight aerial battles. NC America says the world is 36 times larger than the original AION.
Early access also includes character customisation, battlegrounds, dimensional rifts and high-level content, alongside the game’s marketplace and economy.
Three Founder’s Packs are available: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate. Each includes early access and a 30-day membership, with additional cosmetics and extras depending on the edition purchased.
