With Gamescom 2026 just around the corner, I think it’s safe to say that this years event is shaping up to be one of the biggest we have ever seen, with news being released that there will be more than 1,600 exhibitors representing 67 countries, more countries are being represented than ever before.
Gamescom is already a massive event, and this year we are hearing that the 233,000 square meter exhibition space is fully booked for the first time.
Of course more exhibitors should mean we get a first look at more of the games we can look forward to in the future, along with some long awaited updates on games that have already been announced.
Gamescom have also announced that the indie area is bigger than ever, with more than 420 companies looking to show of the games they are working on, making this the largest indie area we have ever seen.
